How do I create tasks from a blueprint by default?

Ive changed the blueprint for our tasks but now trying to automate it to be the default for every task. I cant seem to work out how to do it. I have set up an automation but that sets up a new task separate to creating it from the create button

Has anyone got any advice please?

Hi @Emma Sparks , I do not think your approach works in Wrike. I am not awre of any automation doing that.

Perhaps ideas how it could work:

• use "create from blueprint" (teach people how to use it). I think that is the Wrike standard way
• use a request form. Perhaps for a task a little bit toomuch, but we are using it for new projects. A request form can generate things from a blueprint.
• use the automation to change a new task instead of generating it. I do not know how your blueprint looks like, but perhaps the automation can change the standard task in the way you want.

I hope that gives you some ideas what you could do.
