[From Wrike] Question: How do you use default workflow❓

Alina from product team here 👋 I have a question about your experience with the default workflow! Would appreciate you sharing your current setups and thinking process behind it!

1. Have you ever needed locked transitions and/or approvals within the default workflow? Locked transitions do not allow selecting statuses other than the pre-defined ones, approvals allow creating approvals on status change.
2. Do you need required fields (our newest release) within the default workflow? Required fields standardize data collection on status change and work handoff.
3. If both questions are 'yes,' how would you estimate the impact on your process given these features are unavailable in the default workflow? Not important, Nice to have, Critical.
4. Could you please elaborate on your preference towards the default workflow? Wrike provides the ability to create account and space custom workflows so that each team can mirror its approach in Wrike. How did you structure the process?

We use the default workflow wherever we can in Wrike to minimize the amount of task interruption and context switching required of our staff. Most of our work is project-based, so we have designed our default workflow to match our project status steps.

Locked transitions would be nice to have, not critical

Required fields (especially start/due date, assignee, and effort) are critical and we've been wishing for this for a long time.
