Feature Updates
We're thrilled to announce that Whiteboards now open seamlessly within Wrike!
Previously, clicking a whiteboard from a task or project attachment would open it in a separate browser tab. That experience is now a thing of the past - Whiteboards are now a truly native Wrike capability.
What's new?
- Unified full-screen view: Whether you open a whiteboard through the Whiteboard Hub or click it as an attachment on a task, folder, or project, it now opens in a dedicated full-screen view designed to maximize your entire screen space.
Note: If a whiteboard is opened from the left menu as a Space Tool, it opens within that specific workspace context, meaning the left navigation panel remains visible - this behavior does not change.
- Contextual navigation: Seamlessly move between your whiteboard and the rest of your Wrike workspace without losing context. The "X" button returns you to where you started. You can also copy-paste the URL to share the exact same view with a teammate.
- Clean native look & feel: Whiteboards now display the up-to-date title directly within Wrike.
- Full whiteboard interface via menu: The full interface is still accessible as a secondary action through the attachment's menu.
❗️Please Note: This update is being rolled out in waves. If you don't see the change yet, stay tuned - it's coming your way soon!
Discover the latest AI Agents updates, bringing new prebuilt agents, smarter comment mentions, and expanded custom field support.
What's new?
- Three new default agents: Ready-to-use agents you can enable instantly:
- Revision Tracker - updates a field and comments on status change
- Project Coordinator - assigns subtasks and sets due dates on new items
- Missed Deadline - posts to Slack and sends an email when a date passes. Great as-is or as templates to clone and customize.
- Dynamic @-mentions in comments : Agents can now resolve role-based references like "notify the author" or "mention the assignees" at runtime. The agent adapts to each work item's actual author, assignees, approvers, and followers - every name lands as a clickable mention that notifies them. No more pinging the same fixed users every time.
- People custom field support: Agents can now read and act on People-type custom fields. For example, "Assign this task to whoever's in the Project Lead field" now works for both single- and multi-user fields.
Together, these updates make it possible for AI Agents to automatically notify the right people based on their role or custom field, without any manual setup required.
