Feature Updates
We're thrilled to share three updates bringing the New Gantt Chart closer to full feature parity with the Old Gantt!
What's new?
- Start Constraints are now available in the New Gantt. Constrained tasks display a solid vertical line at the start of the task bar, just like in the Old Gantt. A new Start Constraint column can be added to the table to check, set, or clear constraints. Clearing a constraint lets the task follow its predecessor again.
- Shift-Drag for Dependency Chains: Hold Shift while dragging a task in a dependency chain and every active task, milestones included - moves together, keeping gaps intact. A normal drag without Shift still moves just that one task.
- Contextual Menu Reorganization: Canvas actions now sit in their own dedicated menu on the canvas for quicker access. The same options remain available as a submenu in the view's main contextual menu.
More improvements to start constraints are on the way!
Whiteboards in Wrike just got some mighty upgrades! These updates make content creation smoother than ever, so you can spend less time navigating and more time collaborating.
What's new?
- Native Attachment Flow: Attaching an existing whiteboard to a task, folder, project, or space now opens a clean, native Wrike UI window - no more external popups or redirects. This also ensures you always link the correct whiteboard from your Wrike environment.
- "Green Plus" Quick Creation: You can now create a new Whiteboard directly from the global "+" button in the top right corner. The whiteboard is automatically linked to the work item you're currently viewing, so you can get started in just one click.
These updates make it faster and easier to work with Whiteboards without leaving your workflow.
We're excited to share the latest improvements to table management in Whiteboard, bringing core functionalities based on your feedback.
What's new?
- Merge cells (in a row, column, or both)
- Multi-edit cells for font options
- Set the table size at creation
- Move rows/columns within the table
- Vertical text alignment in cells
- Add row/column before or after
- Improved cursor for row/column resizing
- Sticky notes and images/icons can now be placed on the table
