TL;DR: Tags are descriptive keywords added to posts across the Wrike Community. They organize discussions by specific Wrike features and topics, making it easier for members to find relevant posts, for Community Admins to organize content, and for everyone to discover related conversations.
Hello Community! 👋
Have you ever come across a post about Custom Fields or Automation, or tried to find threads specifically discussing AI Agents, or wondered how to get your feature requests noticed faster? That’s where Tags come in!
Tags are a simple yet powerful tool built right into our Community to keep our discussions organized, searchable, and easy to navigate. Here is everything you need to know about why and how to use them!
🏷️ What are Tags?
Tags are feature or topic-specific keywords attached to posts across the Wrike Community. While categories group content into broad topics, tags help identify the specific Wrike features being discussed.
Adding tags gives each post immediate context, allowing other members and the Wrike team to quickly understand what the conversation is about.
🎯 Why Should You Use Tags?
Using tags on your posts provides several key benefits:
- Make Posts Searchable: Members looking for information about a specific Wrike feature can search for or click a tag to instantly see related posts.
- Increase Visibility: Tags make it easier for other members to discover relevant discussions, questions, ideas, and resources.
- Help Gather Upvotes on Feedback: Tags help members find relevant Product Feedback posts so they can review and upvote feature requests.
- Support Faster Answers: When a post is tagged with the relevant feature, for example, blueprints - members with experience in that area are more likely to find it and help.
- Help Wrike Product Teams: For Product Feedback posts, tags help our product managers track interest in specific features and gather Community input more efficiently.
- Connect Related Conversations: Clicking a tag lets you browse a curated feed of posts across the Community that share the same topic.

🚀 How Tags Are Added to Posts
Tags can be added to any post across the Wrike Community:
- Create a New Post: Head to the relevant Community forum and start a new discussion.
- Write Your Post: Add a clear title and include all relevant details.
- Add Relevant Tags: Select tags related to the Wrike features or topics discussed in your post, or simply start typing terms like dashboards or AI agents to view and click on the tags relevant to your post.
- Publish Your Post: Once added, the tags will appear on your post for everyone to see and click.
📌 Note: Wrike Community Admins will be adding appropriate tags to all new user posts across the Community, as well as retroactively tagging existing posts. So, if you notice tags appearing on your older posts, don’t be alarmed, we’re simply helping improve their visibility and making relevant content easier to find.
