TL;DR: You can now build custom color palettes for your Dashboards and apply them across all widgets, including workflow statuses and custom fields, giving your reports a polished, on-brand look. Available now on Pinnacle and Apex plans, for anyone with Editor/Full permissions on a dashboard.
Hello Community! π
We are excited to share that Dashboards Color Customization is now available in Wrike! π
Why we built this
Many of you told us dashboards could feel visually inconsistent and not polished enough for executive reporting. Chart colors were assigned automatically and could appear random, identical widgets could show different colors, and dashboards were hard to align with your company branding.
- For enterprise teams, this made executive reporting harder than it should be. Dashboards presented to leadership need to follow strict corporate brand guidelines, use official brand colors, and stay visually consistent across every widget, otherwise they are simply not executive-ready.
- For client services and delivery teams, the dashboard often is the client deliverable. Whether you are running campaigns for multiple brands or reporting progress to external stakeholders, you need dashboards that look polished and professional, and that can be styled to match each client's brand rather than your own account's defaults.
Dashboards Customization solves this by giving you control over your dashboard colorsπ
What you can do
Click the new Design button in the dashboard toolbar to:
- Build a custom color palette for that dashboard. Widgets use your colors in order, then their shades, and you control how many shades each color has
- Apply your colors across all widgets on the dashboard, including workflow statuses and custom fields, without changing anything account-wide
- Revert any individual widget back to default colors from the widget's three-dot menu
- Pick colors with a HEX code or the eyedropper, and save colors as reusable presets
- Preview your design in light and dark mode before saving

π Please note: Everything applies to that dashboard only. Your workflow and custom field colors across the rest of your account stay exactly as they are, and none of your existing dashboards change automatically.
Who can use it
Dashboards Customization follows existing dashboard editing permissions:
- anyone with Editor or Full permissions on a dashboard can customize its design, and
- space admins can customize dashboards in their space.
- Availability: Pinnacle and Apex plans.
What is next
This is the first step! Based on your feedback during the beta, we are working toward widget-level color editing and reusable account-level themes in future iterations. Keep the feedback coming, it directly shapes what we build next.
