TL;DR: Build programme and portfolio timelines natively in Gantt with cross-project dependencies and milestones on project bars. Quick Search in Table View makes finding tasks easier with keyword highlights and full-table search. AI Agent setup gets simpler, and Whiteboard diagrams get a polish with rounded corners and smoother connectors. Don't miss our AI Agents webinar on Sept 29, explore four new Request Form templates, join upcoming Wrike webinars, and learn how to share tasks and projects effectively.
Feature Updates
- Gantt Charts: Programme & Portfolio Timelines with Cross-Project Dependencies 🚀
Cross-project dependencies and milestones on project bars are now available! You can build programme and portfolio timelines natively in Gantt, linking projects together and tracking them all on one timeline.
What's new?
- Project dependencies: Link projects directly in Gantt or from the item view, just like task dependencies work today.
- Milestones on project bars: Every milestone in a project shows right on its bar, so key dates across a whole programme are visible without opening each project.
- Show milestones only: A new display setting (in the three-dot menu) hides project and task bars, leaving just the milestones and their dependency lines for a PERT network-style view. It's saved at the view level, so it carries over to snapshots and shared views.
- Predecessor info and delays: Downstream projects now show which project caused a change and roughly how much delay it introduces, instead of a generic conflict flag.
- Inbox notifications: Set up automations to get notified in your Wrike inbox when a direct predecessor project changes status. No manual checking needed.
- Public API access: Project dependency data is now available via API for integrations and custom reporting.
- Availability: Pinnacle and above.
📝 Note on rescheduling: Changing a parent project's dates prompts you to shift its sub-projects too, nothing reschedules automatically. Dependent projects stay put and show a conflict indicator with delay details instead.

We are excited to announce Quick Search in Table View, designed to eliminate the pain of finding the right task in long lists.
What’s new?
- Searches across titles, descriptions, and fields
- Highlights matching keywords in item names
- Searches across the entire Table View, including items not yet loaded
Setting up AI Agents just got simpler and more reliable, helping you build agents that do exactly what you need.
What's new?
- Appoint an agent right inside the settings form: A new Active locations section lets you add or remove the tasks, folders, and projects an agent runs on, directly in the settings, applied when you save. Open an existing agent to see and edit every location it's appointed to in one place. (Creating an agent with no location is still allowed, so it never blocks you.)
- Filters now visible on every action: The Filters section now sits at the bottom of each expanded action card, always in view. Filter out items you don't want the agent to act on (like completed tasks) to narrow its scope and reduce monthly AI usage.
- More ready-to-go ideas on the agents page: Two new tiles link straight to the AI Agent Build-Off and the AI Agents Library in the community, so you can grab proven use cases instead of starting from scratch.

Shape and connector styling just got an upgrade! Diagrams now have a clearer, more professional baseline with rounded corners and smoother connectors.
What’s new?
- Adjust corner radius on supported shapes via a contextual slider, including multi-selection
- Right-angle connectors support radius at bends; new connectors default to right-angle style
- Connector labels use transparent backgrounds and show placeholders when empty
- Shape library displayed in a panel for easier browsing
- Refined defaults and pickers for shape and connector appearance
