Feature Updates
We’re excited to introduce a newly redesigned AI agent builder! We heard your feedback that setting up agents could feel tricky to finish, and that you wanted both the speed of a chat interface and the clarity of structured settings to easily review and govern what your agent will do.
This update brings you a clearer, faster setup experience with less friction and zero dead ends, all while keeping the same powerful capabilities.
What’s new?
- Introducing "Scopes": We've renamed Active Locations to Scopes to better reflect how you think about where an agent applies. Define the total reach or boundary of a subject to specify where the agent can work or check for triggers.
- Appoint During Setup: Define the agent's scope first and continue building with full context in mind. Appointment is completely optional so it won't block creation, and any appointed locations (from any path) are clearly displayed and manageable.
- Side-by-Side Builder: Chat and settings now sit next to each other as complementary tools instead of separate tabs. Tune and test live without leaving the screen, changes in the chat and form stay in sync in real time!
- Sentence-Style Triggers & Actions: Triggers and actions now read in plain, natural language (e.g., "When status changes in the sub-items of the agent’s scope… post a comment in the work items in the agent's scope"). Fields appear progressively and adapt to your scope choices for a personalized setup.
- Clearer Action Filters: Surfaced filters make it easier to see exactly what's in play, helping you configure agent behavior accurately on the first try.

To provide complete transparency as team workflows increasingly integrate AI agents and automated connections, we've introduced activity indicators in Wrike! You can now easily distinguish whether an update was made manually, via API, or through MCP.
What’s new?
- Clear Activity Icons: Stream and Inbox items now feature distinct, industry-standard icons identifying updates made through the API or MCP.
- Application Context on Hover: Simply hover over the icon to view the name of the connected application or agent that made the change.
- Admin Control: Account administrators can manage feature availability to ensure it aligns with their organization's governance requirements.

Following the General Availability rollout of the New Table Widget earlier this year, it is now available for all accounts and is the default for newly created table widgets. With this update, we are officially beginning the sunset process for the old Table Widget.
Sunset Timeline:
- Self-Serve Switch (Now – Nov 12): A banner is now active in the editor for any widgets still using the old version. You can switch to the new widget immediately using the "Switch to new widget" button in the banner, or by simply editing and saving your widget.
- Automatic Migration (Nov 12 – Nov 16): Any remaining widgets using the old version will be automatically updated to the new table widget experience.
What you need to know:
- Zero Loss of Settings: All supported filters and settings will carry over automatically during the migration.
- Already on the New Widget? No action is needed! Nothing changes for widgets already updated to the new version.
