Hello Wrike Team,
Is it possible to change the colors on the bars in a bar graph widget on a dashboard?
Hi Brian,
You can control the colors of a bar graph widget when you use a custom field.
For instance, I have a custom field called "Priority" and I'm using that custom field in the "Break by" setting on the bar graph widget. See the screenshots below. Note how the bar graph colors correspond to the colors defined within the custom field settings.
Brilliant! This worked! Thank you, Lindsay!
Lindsay Rokicki How do I get these colors on a line graph with a custom field that does not have options - it is a number we add. Basically, I have a custom field for how many projects we have in Green Health - I am counting it else where and entering data in Wrike so I can show trend over time. I was the line graph with Green health to be in Green, trend with Yellow health in Yellow and so on - can I do this in Wrike dashboards?
Hi @Archana Maltesh, till now there is no option to colour other custom properties types.
thank you @Pietro Poli - I thought so but wanted to check if there was some special trick for it
Hi @Archana Maltesh 👋Currently, Wrike does not support color coding for number-based custom fields in line graphs. The color coding feature is available for single and multi-select custom fields where you can assign colors to different options within the field settings.@Pietro Poli, thanks for the help!
Hi, I would like to change the color coding for bars that are based on non-custom fields. I understood that this is not possible. Is wrike working on that? I am facing the issue, that delayed tasks have different colors in widgets, which ist confusing to the user. Many thanks for your help!
Hi @Sinje Geuer 🙋♂️
Thanks for sharing your comment. At the moment, there’s no further update regarding color-coding bars for non-custom fields. If we hear any news or updates in the future, we’ll be sure to share them here in the Community 👍
