How Can I Enter Flexible Effort by Month As A Percentage?

Usually we assign resources to a project as a percentage of time by day/week/month for the duration of the project.

e.g. Here you can see I'm assigned to Example Project at 100% from April to July:

If I'm only needed for 75% of May, I can switch to Flexible mode and change the entry for May - however this displays the effort by hours, not by percentage. I am forced to manually calculate what 75% of 176h is and enter that number.

How can I enter 75% for May instead of being forced to enter the correct number of hours?

Since 75% would vary based of the Assignee's workschedule.

Why not set a daily effort of 75% of your Assignees Daily Capacity?

I don't believe you can enter 75% for May in this situation as Wrike currently does not support entering resource allocation as a percentage directly in Flexible mode. I think I saw this as an existing feature request you can upvote.

As a workaround, you could save time by using a spreadsheet to calculate hours for you.

Before entering data into Wrike, create a spreadsheet with:

Working days per month
Hours per working day (usually 8h)
Auto-calculated total monthly hours
A column to enter desired % allocation
A formula to convert % into total hours

You can then quickly copy/paste the correct effort into Wrike.

If you have the ask AI feature from Wrike/labs enabled, you can always ask the AI to quickly calculate this for you.

Maybe using analytics, you could create a pivot table to show % vs hrs...?

@Mat Ward, our workaround is using effort hours with an 8-hour auto calculated day. Even with one of our longest tasks, we haven't found a way to measure it by month.

Thanks, everyone, for your suggestions.
Part of my issue is I have around 25 Project Managers and they're managing the effort of hundreds of resources across projects that go for months or even years.
The fact that we have to step outside of Wrike to calculate the number of hours to be allocated when availability across months is variable is painful for everyone involved!
