TL;DR: AI Agents are now generally available for Pinnacle and Apex plans, helping you monitor work, detect risks, triage requests, validate intake, and automate custom workflows.
Hello Community! 👋
We’re happy to announce that AI Agents are now out of Wrike Labs and are generally available [for Business, Pinnacle and Apex plans] 🔥
AI Agents in Wrike are intelligent workmates that help your team work more efficiently. They monitor work in the background, understand context, and can take actions like detecting risks, categorizing requests, or validating details. You can start with Wrike’s Prebuilt Agents or create your own Custom Agents tailored to your team’s workflows and use cases.
How AI Agents Help You Work Smarter ✔️
AI agents bring intelligence and automation to your workflows:
- Intelligent analysis: Read task descriptions, comments, and context to make informed decisions.
- Proactive monitoring: Watch for risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities.
- Smart classification: Organize and route work based on content understanding.
- Quality assurance: Validate incoming requests for completeness.
Each AI Agent has two core parts:
- Watcher – Monitors selected spaces, projects, or folders for triggers (like new tasks, overdue items, or field changes).
- Doer – When triggered, analyzes the context and takes action — for example, posting comments, updating fields, or notifying teammates.
🔧 Available Agent Types
You can use Wrike’s built-in Agents or create your own:
1️⃣ Risk Status Reporter
Purpose: Surface project risks early.
What it does: Regularly scans tasks in a project or folder, finds overdue or blocked items, and posts a summary comment.
Ideal for: Project owners who want a quick snapshot of project health.
2️⃣ Triaging Agent
Purpose: Classify and route incoming work.
What it does: Reads new task descriptions and updates custom fields such as priority, category, or type.
Ideal for: Teams handling a high volume of incoming requests.
3️⃣ Intake Agent
Purpose: Make sure new requests are complete before work starts.
What it does: Checks task descriptions for missing details (like scope, deadlines, or links) and posts a comment if something’s missing.
Ideal for: Teams that rely on structured, high-quality intake.
4️⃣ Custom Agent
Purpose: Automate your own unique workflows.
What it does: You define the triggers, logic, and actions (such as posting comments or updating fields).
Ideal for: Teams that want tailored, intelligent automation beyond the standard use cases.
⚙️ Multi Action Agents
You can configure AI Agents to execute multiple actions per trigger, enabling more powerful and flexible automations.
- Multiple sequential actions – Configure more than one action for the same trigger. The previous limitation of “update one field OR post a comment” no longer applies.
- Independent actions – Each action runs independently. If one action fails, the others still execute, making your agents more resilient.
- Per-action testing in Playground – Test each action separately before deployment
