- Dashboards: New Filters Are Now the Default for New Chart Widgets 📊
With feature parity now reached between new and classic filters, all newly created chart widgets will now use new filters by default.
What’s new?
- All newly created chart widgets now use new filters by default.
- New chart widgets no longer include an option to switch to classic filters.
- Existing chart widgets already using new filters will no longer have the option to switch back.
- Existing widgets still on classic filters will stay on classic filters for now, and can still switch to new filters, but the change is permanent when applied.
- In-product messaging now highlights that classic filters will be removed soon.
Why it matters
New filters bring more flexibility and deeper reporting capabilities to chart widgets, including:
- Deeper drill-downs.
- Support for additional metrics like duration, time to completion, time overdue, effort, approvals, and custom fields.

- Templates: More Control When Creating and Installing Space Templates 🚀
Templates now offer more flexibility when creating and installing Spaces. You can save a Space as a template without including tasks, and you can also choose the name of the Space during template installation.
What’s new?
- When creating a template, users can choose to exclude all tasks.
- All tasks and task-type work items, including items created from task-type Custom Item Types, are excluded from the template.
- Space structure is preserved, including folders, projects, dashboards, workflows, custom fields, and other configurations.
- Task Blueprints are still included, so teams can begin creating work from predefined blueprints right after installing the template.
- During template installation, users can customize the name of the new Space before it is created.
- New Spaces no longer need to be renamed after installation.

- Klaxoon: Visual Collaboration MCP is now live ☑️
The Klaxoon Visual Collaboration MCP is now available. It connects supported AI assistants to Klaxoon whiteboards, making it easier to turn unstructured board content into structured outputs, generate diagrams, prepare workshops, summarize whiteboards, and support other collaboration workflows.
With this release, users can:
- List existing whiteboards
- Create new whiteboards
- List existing board objects
- Create new board objects
Currently supported board objects include shapes, text, connectors, and sticky notes.
Example use cases include:
- Turning unstructured board content into structured outputs such as actions, decisions, and groupings.
- Preparing workshops with frames, sections, and starter content.
- Generating diagrams and visual structures from instructions or structured inputs.
- Summarizing and comparing content across one or multiple boards.
- Reorganizing board (grouping, layout, light structure) items after brainstorming.
