Feature Updates
You can now add a Successors column in Table view and the Gantt chart table. Acting as the mirror image of the Predecessors column, it instantly shows which downstream tasks depend on the current task.
What’s new?
- Add the Successors column directly from the Fields picker in Table view or the Gantt table.
- Easily view dependent tasks by row number directly within the table grid.
- Edit dependencies directly inside the cell using row numbers and dependency types (e.g., FS, SS, FF, SF) along with lag duration (e.g., 9SS+2d).
- Automatic bi-directional syncing: adding a successor automatically updates the Predecessors column on the target task, and vice versa.
How to set it up
- Open a project in Table view or Gantt view.
- Open the Fields picker menu.
- Search for and enable the Successors column.
- Type a row number into any Successor cell to establish a dependency.
Note: Scheduling behavior remains forward-driven, dates flow downstream from predecessors to successors. Adding or editing a successor updates visibility and dependency lines without triggering backward scheduling.
- AI Agents: Create Items from Blueprints and Add Formatted Descriptions 🤖
We’ve upgraded the "create-item" action for AI Agents, making automated workflow creation and task formatting more robust.
What’s new?
- Create items from blueprints: AI Agents can now launch complete standardized structures, including parent items and subtasks, in a single step. Instead of building bare tasks field by field, automated workflows spin up full project templates automatically when triggered. You simply pre-select the blueprint when configuring the action setup.
- Rich formatted descriptions: Items created by AI Agents no longer default to plain text. Agents can now generate styled descriptions complete with headings, bullet points, checkbox lists, bold text, and colored highlights. This rich formatting is fully preserved across execution logs and the testing playground.

We’re tidying up the Appearance gallery in preparation for upcoming theming updates. As part of this work, we’ve removed several themes with duplicate color schemes. If you were using one of these themes, we’ve automatically migrated you to the closest available match. Please let us know if you have any feedback.
