TL;DR: Baseline Tracking is now live for Business and above, AI Agents are more powerful, and the new Files View is now available. We’ve also added mobile dashboard drill-down, Cascading Fields API support, and new Request Forms filtering. Plus, catch the latest Community updates, Challenge, webinar, onboarding post, and more.
Feature Updates
We’re excited to announce that Baseline Tracking is now available for customers on Business and higher plans. This update makes it easier to compare actual project timelines against the original plan, without relying on manual workarounds or duplicate data.
With Baseline Tracking, teams can capture planned dates directly in Wrike and use that information across multiple areas of the platform for better visibility and reporting.
What’s new?
- Record baselines in Table or Gantt view using either the current state or a selected historical date.
- Automatically generated baseline fields include Baseline start, Baseline due, Baseline duration, and Baseline due variance.
- Use baseline data across Wrike in Gantt, Table, Dashboards, Filters, Formulas, Wrike Analyze (as custom fields), API (as custom fields).
- In Gantt view, teams can display baseline bars for visual comparison and enable red warning indicators for delayed work.
- Access to Baseline Tracking can be managed through User Types and Access Roles.
This release gives teams a clearer way to measure schedule performance, spot delays earlier, and report on planned versus actual progress more effectively. For more information, read our dedicated Community post and Help Center article.
A new set of AI Agents enhancements is now available to make agents more powerful, context-aware, and reliable. These updates help agents take more useful actions, work better across connected data, and support more predictable multi-step workflows.
With these updates, teams can notify stakeholders in Microsoft Teams, let agents rewrite work item descriptions, give agents richer context from linked database records and approvals, and build action flows that run in a defined sequence.
What’s new?
- Agents can now post notifications to a Microsoft Teams channel through a new action, helping teams share updates directly where they collaborate.
- A new Change description action allows agents to rewrite, summarize, edit, or populate a work item’s description.
- Agents now read full linked database records, not just the record name, giving them access to all available fields on connected items.
- Approver decisions are now visible inside the agent prompt, including who approved, rejected, or has not yet responded.
- Actions now run in the order set in the builder, and each action can build on the output of the previous one for better multi-step automation.
- This release also includes multiple reliability improvements and fixes across Outlook email sending, subtask-scope behavior, cloning, logs, filters, and keyboard navigation.
These updates give teams more control over how agents work, improve the quality of agent-driven automation, and make it easier to build workflows that are both smarter and more dependable. For more information on AI Agents, read our Help Center article.
We’re happy to share that the new Files View and Dashboard Files Widget are now available. This release delivers a more streamlined file management experience in Wrike, with improved usability, accessibility, and organization.
The new experience makes it easier for teams to work with files, whether they’re reviewing assets in a dedicated Files View or tracking them from a dashboard widget.
What’s new?
- A new Files View experience with improved performance and a more consistent interface.
- A new Dashboard Files Widget built on the same updated experience.
- Improved list mode with better accessibility and keyboard shortcut support.
- Grouping support in Files View, making it easier to organize files by key properties.- Additional grouping options for date-based fields and more control over group sorting.
- Gallery mode improvements, including updated item selection and context menu behavior.
- Support for new filtering capabilities, with existing filters continuing to work seamlessly.
We’re introducing a new mobile app update that makes it easier to access tasks directly from Dashboard chart widgets while on the go.
What’s new?
Users can now open task lists from supported chart widgets in mobile Dashboards. This makes it faster to move from visual reporting to the underlying work items.
Supported chart types include:
- Pie charts
- Column and bar charts
- Stacked column and stacked bar charts
Please note: Drill-down is not available for aggregated “Others” sections, matching the current desktop experience.
Availability
To access this update, please make sure your Wrike mobile app is up to date:
- iOS: Available in the App Store
- Android: Rolling out gradually in Google Play
We’ve expanded Cascading Fields with new API support.
What’s new?
With this update, cascading field logic can now also be triggered through API calls, making it easier to support automated workflows and integrations alongside existing in-product functionality.
For more information, please refer to our API Documentation and Help Center article.
- Request Forms: Filter Database Options for Link to Database Fields
Admins can now apply static filters to Link to Database custom fields, so request form submitters only see relevant database records when filling out internal forms.
What’s new?
- Apply a static filter to any Link to Database custom field.
- Show only records that match a fixed condition in request forms.
- Configure the filter once in the custom field settings and reuse it across every request form that uses that field.
- Combine static filtering with dynamic filtering for more precise form experiences.
For example, admins can filter a field to show only records where Status = Active, helping keep archived or outdated options out of the dropdown.
Please note:
- Available for internal request forms only
- Supports filtering based on single-select database column values
- Applies only during form submission, not in other Wrike views or tools
